"Guelmim" ou "Goulemine"
80 kms from Mirleft, this town is an old caravan centre situated at the gateway of Moroccan Sahara. On Saturdays, it is possible to visit the traditional camel market, where inhabitants from the area auction camels and other livestock.

8kms from Guelmin, the Tighmert oasis stretches over 8kms. In this beautiful oasis, Abdou welcomes you to his museum in the memory of berberes and nomads allowing you to discover the artifacts of an ancient nomadic life.

35 kms from Mirleft, this little town which is surrounded by fortress walls, is famed for its jewelry market; you will discover the local savoir faire of silver work.

Amtoudi
Amtoudi is an inviting little berbere village hidden in the heart of an oasis. Here you can discover several Agadirs (cereals attics on top of mountains). Historically inhabitants have stored their harvest in the Agadirs, protecting their goods from the impending attacks of other tribes. You can enjoy a breathtaking panorama, take a walk in the wild oasis and even enjoy a swim in the natural waters of the canyon.

Tafraoute
2 hours from Mirleft, via an amazing mountain road, sits Tafraoute, a picturesque little town built from red and ochre rocks. The road which leads there is beautiful; stop in Kerdaous at an altitude of 1100m to admire the magnificent views of the surrounding mountains.
Just before Tafraoute, stop to admire the village situated in the middle of enormous imposing pink granite rocks.
